Right now, the main focus for me is theatre... For the next two months it's all about CounterPULSE and the shows I am working on there. The first is with Mica Sigourney, aka Vivvyanne Forevermore and aka Ox, who I have been helping with his residency by being fully present as an actor and a drag queen, and returning to days of improv, physical exertion, excercises in challenging one's body and mind to be as serious and ridiculous as possible at the same time... and more... We are building a unique piece to specifications Mica still has in his mind, and so the search continues for where we are going, but here are some teasers: wigs, greek tragedy (oh yes, it's coming up a lot lately, eh?), Florence and the Machine, purple light, and sweat...that's all you get for now! In the meantime,we have until Jan. 19th to raise all the funds we need to be able to put on 'Hold Me Closer, Tiny Dionysus' at CounterPULSE Feb. 17, 18, 19 through our kickstarter! There are some awesome perks to being a benefactor for this play, and we can promise an amazing cast, crew and show, not to mention the fabulous audience it is destined to attract!
